The inaugural ceremony of Alphics 2k25- Annual Sports Meet commenced with esteemed dignitaries and Chief Guests Dr.J.Rajasingh Ragland, Director of Physical Education,Senet member MS University, Nazareth Margoschis College,Thoothukudi. declaring the Alphics open. The first day was marked by the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by demonstrations of traditional arts like sillambam, Dance and various martial arts. Numerous competitions like kabaddi, handball, and Kho-Kho, were held, alongside pre-organized events such us football, throwball, volleyball, cricket, badminton, carrom and chess for both students and staff. Scores from these events were added into the finals. On the second day, athletes showcased shot put, long jump, discus throw, javelin, and relays. Teams, namely Soldiers, Avengers, Warriors, and Challengers showed their active participation. The Valediction ceremony, graced by Very Rev. Fr. Antony Jose,Secretary and Correspondent as the Chief Guest, took place at 1:30 pm. Dignitaries with our Fr Correspondent, distributed prizes to the winners. The overall trophy was won by the Challengers, Soldiers securing runner-up position, and Warriors as the second runner-up.and Avengers securing third runner-up. Special recognition was given to the students who contributed poems and drawings for the sports magazine. Valediction address given by our Principal Rev Dr.Michael Aro SDB .The event concluded with Rev.Fr.Antony Jose declaration of the Alphics 2k25 close. Sincere thanks to our Correspondent Very Rev. Fr. Antony Jose, our Principal Rev. Dr. Michael Aro SDB, our Campus Minister Fr. Ajin Jose, Vice Principal Dr. R. Sivenesan, the team managers and all the faculty members and non teaching staff for their invaluable support, making the ALPHICS 2k25 a grand success through collective efforts. Thank you all
