International Conference on "Sustainable Innovation and Digital Excellence: Unlocking the Potential

The PG & Research Department of Commerce successfully hosted an International Conference on "Sustainable Innovation and Digital Excellence: Unlocking the Potential for SDG Success" on August 22, 2025, at the Multimedia Hall.

The conference began with thamizh thaai vaazhthu followed by prayer song sung by department choir.Welcome address given by Dr. R. Sivanesan, Convener of the conference.An inaugural address by Rev. Dr. Angelo Joseph SDB, Principal, followed by Dr. N. Jemila Dani and Dr. P. Besmi, Assistant Professors of Commerce, explained the release of peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

The Chief Guest, Dr. R. Stephen Chellakan, Assistant Professor, College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, University of Technology, Bahrain, officially released the peer-reviewed journal and handed over to the principal. ISBN proceedings was released by principal Rev Dr Anjelo Joseph and first copy of the same received by Rev. Fr. Ajin Jose, Assistant Correspondent.Felicitation address delivered by the assistant correspondent.

The international conference brought together faculty, students, and research scholars from various colleges to engage in discussions and paper presentations with renowned resource persons, including Dr B Revathi, Professor & Head, Department of Commerce, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.

The conference concluded with a valedictory address by Rev. Dr. Angelo Joseph, Principal. After the distribution of certificates, Rev. Fr. Ajin Jose delivered concluding remarks. Dr. M. Subala, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, proposed the vote of thanks.
