79th Independence Day - 2025

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated on 15 -08 -2025 with great enthusiasm and vigor. The event began with the ceremonial Hoisting of the National Flag by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr G John Bright, NCO, Indian Army. The audience paid tribute to the flag and the nation while the Flag Song and National Anthem were sung. Anto Mebisha, II MSc Physics welcomed the gathering. The dignitaries lit the lamp and ignited the spirit of Independence. The Correspondent Rev Fr Thomas Poovathumoottil & the Principal Rev Dr Angelo Joseph SDB briefed on the preamble of the constitution in their talks. A vibrant array of patriotic competitions followed. The esteemed Chief Guest gave a stirring speech that instilled patriotic fervor. All achievements of the students were then proudly acknowledged in the Prize Distribution ceremony. The event concluded with Vote of Thanks by Arul Sherina, III BA English followed by Nation Anthem.
