The Research and PG Department of Physics successfully organized a National Seminar on the Application of Physics in the Emerging World (NSAP-2025) on 24th January 2025. The event commenced at 10:00 am in the Multimedia Hall with a soulful prayer song.

Rev. Dr. Michael Aro SDB, the Principal delivered inaugural address, highlighting the importance of Physics in addressing challenges in the modern world. The seminar was graced by the presence of the chief guest Dr. T.D. Subash, a member of the Board of Governors, IEEE Photonics Society, USA and a distinguished professor at the School of Information Engineering, Zhejiang Ocean University, China. Dr. T.D. Subash captivated the audience with his thought-provoking presentation sharing transformative ideas, practical suggestions and valuable advice that inspired participants to elevate their academic and professional aspirations.

The event witnessed with 41 participants including UG, PG and Research Scholars from neighbouring colleges. As part of the program, competitions were conducted to engage and challenge the participants.

The valedictory session, presided over by Rev. Fr. Ajin Jose, Campus Minister who delivered an inspiring valedictory address. The winners of the competitions were honoured with prizes, adding a celebratory touch to the session. The seminar concluded with the Vote of Thanks expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of NSAP-2025.
