This is the 78th year of courage, resilience and unity! Our college celebrated the 78th Independence Day today, a celebration that fosters a sense of pride and patriotism. The Chief guest Dr M T Balan, Retd Sub Major, Indian Army hoisted the national flag. The Correspondent Very Rev Fr Antony Jose, Principal Rev Dr Michael Aro SDB, Campus Minister Rev Fr Ajin Jose, Vice Principal Dr R Sivanesan, staff, and students paid tribute to the national flag. As the tricolour flag was majestically waving in the azure blue sky, the celebrations continued with stirring musical performance, evocative dance sequences, thought provoking street play and powerful speeches. Each segment of the program was designed to ignite the flame of patriotism in every heart. The Principal Rev Dr Michael Aro SDB highlighted the importance of the day in his insightful address. The Chief guest Dr M T Balan shared his experiences of serving in the Indian Army for over 3 decades that instilled a spirit of patriotism in the minds of the audience. Winners of competitions like Poetry, Patriotic Dance and a friendly Kabbadi match were honoured with prizes. The celebration was not just to remember the past, but to inspire the future with pride, joy, and unwavering hope!
