In harmony with the goal of preserving life, preventing the condition from getting worse, and promoting recovery, the First aid, RRC, YRC, NSS and anti-drug committees have co-organized a glorious awareness program entitled “Basic Life support” which comprised of two sessions. The Principal Rev. Dr. Michael Aro SDB fostered the significance of gaining insights into skills of basic life support amidst the student’s community. Above and beyond, the chief guest Dr. Vibinraj Ahimas, Emergency Physician (Trauma & Critical Care), MD Physician, PGDFM, FAEM (CMC Vellore) demonstrated the steps that ought to be implemented to safeguard the life span of the adverse ailing victims. In particular, a meticulous cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was exceptionally elucidated by the physician, whilst students eagerly observed the exposition. The aforementioned committees are extremely grateful to the entire management for their consistent support to successfully conduct this program.
