A webinar on the topic ‘Fundamentals of Translation’ was conducted on 10.08.2023 at the Media Hall from 12 noon to 1.15pm. This event was initiated by Ms. Adline Jereena Mary and Ms. Sibitha (Asst. Professors of English Department).
The resource person was Dr. R. Preethi, Asst. Professor of English Dept., Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai.
In her power point presentation, Dr. Preethi emphasized on the necessity for unbiased translation in its most authentic form.
The webinar was an eye-opener for literature students treading this complex area for the first time.
